One of the questions I hear most often is, "Will you be there when I come in?" The answer is, I certainly hope so, but not always.

While I still love working directly with our clients whenever I can, my role has grown into much more than managing the day to day operations at Sunny Shores. My passion has always been education, research, and helping advance the wellness industry, which means much of my time is spent both inside and outside of the spa.

​

As The Red Light Queen®, I consult with wellness businesses across the country, helping owners implement evidence based light therapy, elevate their standards of care, select effective wellness technologies, develop treatment protocols, and train their teams. I also work one on one with business owners and wellness professionals who want to better understand photobiomodulation and confidently integrate it into their practices.

​

I'm also proud to partner with Wellsystem as a consultant, providing real world insight into treatment protocols, technology development, and emerging applications for wellness equipment. Working alongside industry leaders allows me to help shape how wellness technologies are implemented while providing valuable feedback based on practical experience in a high volume wellness center.

​

Closer to home, I serve as a Wellness Consultant for our physician partnered Wellness Transformation Program. I personally review client goals, evaluate wellness questionnaires, and help guide individuals toward personalized wellness programs, laboratory testing, peptides, supplements, and lifestyle recommendations before they begin their physician directed journey. My goal is to help every client understand their options and feel confident in the path they're choosing.

Education has always been the foundation of everything I do. In addition to speaking at national conferences and training wellness professionals, I'm honored to serve as a Senior Staff Writer for Sun is Life magazine, where I write educational articles that help translate complex science into practical information for salon owners, wellness professionals, and consumers. Behind the scenes, I'm continually reviewing scientific literature, attending advanced training, researching emerging technologies, and evaluating new equipment so Sunny Shores continues to offer services backed by education, innovation, and purpose.

When I'm not immersed in the wellness world, you'll probably find me exactly where I want to be, cheering from the sidelines. I'm a proud mom of four amazing kids who keep our family busy with six different sports throughout the year. My husband, Mat, shares the same passion for giving back to our community. During the 2025 through 2026 season alone, he volunteered as a coach for four baseball teams, including the North East High School team, our regional All Star team that earned the opportunity to play at PNC Park, the 7th and 8th grade feeder program, and a local RBI Little League team. Every one of those roles was completely volunteer.

Community has always been important to our family. I'm honored to serve as Communications Committee Chair for the North East Sports Boosters, where I help promote school spirit, celebrate our student athletes, support fundraising efforts, and recognize the incredible volunteers who make youth athletics possible.

​

Every service, every piece of equipment, every treatment protocol, and every recommendation at Sunny Shores has been carefully researched, personally selected, and developed with intention. I don't simply purchase equipment because it's new or trendy. I invest in technologies that are supported by science, align with our mission, and have the potential to make a meaningful difference in our clients' lives.
