Relief from Seasonal Allergies

Seasonal allergies can leave people feeling exhausted, congested, inflamed and just plain miserable. While we never claim to treat or cure allergies, many clients build wellness routines focused on supporting recovery, circulation, relaxation and respiratory comfort during heavy allergy seasons. At Sunny Shores, a combination approach often works best!

Here are some of the rooms and routines we commonly recommend as part of a smart wellness plan:

Full Body Light Therapy, Spa Room 7 Redwave

Our full body LED therapeutic light therapy bed combines red, infrared and orange light exposure. Many clients use this room to support overall inflammation balance, recovery and relaxation during allergy season. Red and infrared light are often used in wellness routines aimed at supporting circulation, cellular energy production and recovery from environmental stressors.

Recommended routine: 2 to 4 sessions per week, ideally spaced every 48 hours for consistency.

Infrared & Red Light Panel Room, Spa Room 3

This room combines concentrated red, orange and infrared light with a gemstone mat experience. Clients who feel sinus pressure, body aches, fatigue or seasonal tension often enjoy this room as part of a recovery focused routine.

Recommended routine: Every other day during peak allergy season ( this would replace room 7 if you are switching between the 2).

Wellness Pod, Spa Room 1

The pod combines light therapy, heat and oxygen support features into one deeply relaxing session. Many clients dealing with seasonal stress and fatigue love this room because allergies do not just affect the nose, they affect sleep quality, energy levels and recovery too.

Recommended routine: 1 to 3 times weekly depending on comfort and heat tolerance.

Infrared Sauna Sessions, Spa Room 2

Thermal therapy can help support relaxation, sweating, circulation and overall recovery. Some clients feel that heat sessions help them feel “cleared out” during seasonal changes. Our private infrared salt cave sauna sessions are one of the most popular options during allergy season. Many people enjoy the relaxing environment and respiratory focused atmosphere during times of pollen and seasonal irritation.

Recommended routine: 1 to 3 times weekly, up to 40 minutes, always staying hydrated and avoiding overdoing heat exposure.

Compression & Contrast Therapy Add On

For clients feeling run down, puffy or sluggish from inflammation and poor sleep during allergy season, compression and heat/cold contrast therapy can be a great supportive add on while relaxing in the massage chair.

A simple seasonal allergy support routine could look like:

• Monday: Full Body Light Therapy

• Wednesday: Salt Sauna + Infrared

• Friday: Red/Infrared Panel Room

• Optional weekend recovery: Wellness Pod or Compression Therapy

Consistency matters more than intensity. Many wellness routines work best when done gradually and regularly over several weeks instead of trying to “overdo” sessions all at once.

As always, clients with medical conditions, severe asthma, uncontrolled heat sensitivity or respiratory concerns should check with their healthcare provider before beginning any new wellness routine. Want to try a PEPTIDE route?

Seasonal allergies are driven by inflammation, histamine response, immune signaling, stress on the nervous system, and sometimes poor recovery/sleep. There is not a peptide that “cures” allergies, but there are several that may support the body in ways that help some people feel more regulated during allergy season.

Based on the peptide options we have access to, these are probably the most logical fits:

NAD+

Often one of the best overall “feel better” support options during allergy season.

May help support:

• Cellular energy when allergies leave people drained

• Recovery from inflammation and stress

• Immune resilience

• Brain fog and fatigue from antihistamines or poor sleep

A lot of people with seasonal allergies complain less about the sneezing itself and more about:

• Feeling exhausted• Puffy• Foggy• Run down

NAD+ can sometimes help support those areas.

Glutathione

Probably the strongest fit specifically for “allergy season support.”

Glutathione is one of the body’s main antioxidants and may support:

• Oxidative stress

• Detox pathways

• Immune system balance

• Inflammation response

People often gravitate toward glutathione during:

• Seasonal allergies• High inflammation periods• Mold/pollen exposure• Heavy environmental exposure

It is also commonly discussed for sinus congestion and overall “inflamed” feeling, though results vary person to person.

Semax / Selank

This would not directly target histamine, but can help if allergies are making someone:

• Stressed• Mentally foggy• Exhausted• Wired and tired

Some people notice seasonal allergies worsen when stress and poor sleep are high, so calming the nervous system may indirectly help overall symptoms.

May support:• Calm focus• Stress resilience• Mental clarity• Better sleep quality in some users

MOTS-C

More indirect support, but may help if someone feels:

• Inflamed• Fatigued• Sluggish during allergy season

MOTS-C is more of a metabolic and resilience peptide than an allergy-focused peptide.

☀️ Pairing these with consistent wellness routines like red light therapy, infrared sauna, hydration, quality sleep, and stress management may help support the body even more during peak allergy season.
